Parking
Is there disabled parking in Sudbury Town?"
That was question put to Christine Harvey a member of our executive committee by a local resident who wanted to come and shop in Sudbury Town. On discovering that there was no disabled parking bay the issue was taken up by Christine in her role as business liaison committee member. Christine contacted Cllr Mary Daly, one of our ward councillors, who in turn advised who in the council to contact. Working with the council's Effe Hagan , suitable sites for the parking bay were discussed and we are pleased to report that a disabled parking bay has now been installed in the Watford Road adjacent to Butler’s Green and close to the pedestrian crossing.
