Diva Operas 2016
The greatest moments from Diva Opera 2016
Sudbury Town Residents’ Association brought back its sell-out Christmas show to St Andrew's Church, 965 Harrow Road, Sudbury, Wembley, on Saturday 3rd December. "The Twelve Days of Christmas" was an evening of glamour and festive community spirit.
The show by Diva Opera reunites internationally-renowned artists to perform much-loved arias and carols for an intimate and amusing evening with the dazzle and magic of the big stage.
Sudbury's local Member of Parliament and the Mayor of Brent both attended. The Brent Police Cadets were on duty all evening once again to help the event organisers, Christine Harvey and Jean Peacock. It is an inspiration to see young people with such enthusiasm; they loved the show and are keen to return this year on the 9th December 2017. The event is all about bringing together the community for fantastic cause - St Luke's Hospice.
Councillor Mary Daly, a great supporter of this event, said "St Luke's is a charity that gives a huge amount to this community as do STRA, improving the quality of life for those most in need. We wanted to celebrate that work with an evening that will be a high-quality experience with plenty of sparkle.
The show offered our audience a Christmas treat with a difference - international talent in the charming local setting of St Andrews Church. After the performance Diva Opera took the same show to the fabulous Villa Ephrussi De Rothschild in St Jean Cap Ferrat on the French Riviera
