A Flight in a Single Engine Plane

All three winners will meet at Elstree Aerodrome, Hertfordshire with the Pilot.The area they will be flying over will be Chiltern Hills or Thames Estuary.

The pilot will meet the winners at Elstree Aerodrome for a coffee followed by a brief.   The pilot will take the passengers out to the parking area to see the plane.  There will be an opportunity to take pictures.

The pilot will go through many aspects of pre-flight checks, basic controls of a Single Engine Plane (SEP), how to read maps, GPS etc etc.,

Finally the winners will watch the fuelling of the the plane before taking off into the skies - 2,000-3,000ft above ground.

A strip of 5 tickets for £5.

If you cannot attend the next STRA meeting on Monday, 21 July at 7.30 at Wembley Football Club, Vale Farm please send a cheque for £5 made payable to STRA and posted to STRA c/o SMC 809 Harrow Road Wembley Middlesex HA0 2LP.

The raffle will be drawn on Monday, 18 August 2014 at The Swan Public House, Watford Road, Sudbury, at 7:00pm, please come along.   You will also be able to purchase tickets then.
