The primary existence of STRA Sub-Committees is to ensure the tasks
devolved to the Scs are effectively carried out to make Sudbury “Greener,
Cleaner and Safer”. -
Scs are set up to provide wider participation and involvement across STRA
membership base to carry out an effective delivery of its work programme that
supports its aims and objectives.

All Sub-Committees report to STRA Committee.

Activities and action plans identified and the introduction of new
initiatives, specially when financial commitments would be involved, should be
discussed with Committee Members and follow consultations at the monthly
meetings and voted, if necessary, prior to implementation. -
Sub-Committees are requested to present a brief report at STRA monthly
meetings. -
Sub-Committees members should not used the name of STRA to gain financial
or other type of advantage.
