Crime Prevention/Burglaries/Anti-Social
Behaviour to be merged with Paan Spitting/Public Drinking
 
To liaise with SNT – Sudbury Neighbourhood Team.
 
To report to SNT, as soon as is practical  of any burglaries and/or
anti-social behaviour occurring in the area.
 
Key contact point for STRA and promote good working relationship with SNT
and local Police.
 
To communicate issues and incidents raised by STRA members to SNT.
 
To attend quarterly SNT meetings and report back to the next monthly
meeting.
 
To organise  1 or 2 talks per year where SNT or other organisations could
advise STRA members on crime prevention.
 
To ensure that paan spitting banners and public drinking notices are
maintained and report any vandalism to Brent Council.
 
To co-ordinate effective implementation/enforcement of antisocial behaviour
via SNT.
 
To keep informed of any other initiatives applied in other parts of the
Borough or by other Boroughs that could be of benefit to Sudbury.
 
To work in partnership with health experts and across other Authorities to
raise awareness of spitting and work-up a proposal in conjunction with LBB to
ban spitting in Brent.
 
To organise at least one or two events a year on the subject, preferably
with the stakeholders e.g.  Brent Council, SNT to educate and inform the
community of the issues involved.

Sudbury in Bloom

On Saturday 29 May 2021 STRA and WCARA joined hands again to spread some colour and happiness around Sudbury Town with the gift of free bedding plants.

 

STRA applied for and received a grant from Brent Council Love Where You Live Grant.
